The terms and conditions outlined herein establish the contractual agreement between you and Gidea Park Airport Minicabs. By booking a taxi and utilizing our services, you express unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions as outlined in this agreement.
Definitions
The terms "Gidea Park Airport Minicabs," "we," or "us" pertain to the service-providing company, while "you" and "your" encompass any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
Booking
2.1 Allotting sufficient time for your journey, especially for airport transfers with specific check-in times, is your responsibility. Gidea Park Airport Minicabs is not accountable for delays resulting from inadequate time allocation or unpreparedness to be collected at the scheduled time.
2.2 Ordering a car of suitable size for passengers and luggage falls under your responsibility. No assurance is given regarding the transportation of excessive luggage. Child passengers, regardless of age, are considered as single passengers.
2.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be made during the booking process.
Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quoted prices, excluding VAT unless specified, are based on information provided by you. We reserve the right to adjust the quote for significant changes to the itinerary.
3.2 The quote includes a 45-minute waiting period post-landing and airport parking costs. Any waiting beyond this period incurs standard waiting rates. Flight delays will be accommodated when possible, but we are not obliged to do so.
3.3 Upon accepting our quote, review the booking confirmation for accuracy. Failure to notify Gidea Park Airport Minicabs of any discrepancies absolves us of responsibility for resulting delays or costs.
3.4 Payments can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service
4.1 Passenger behavior is your responsibility. Charges may apply for vehicle soiling, damage, or negative impact caused by passengers.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking in the car is prohibited.
4.3 Children in the car should be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 Passenger capacity adheres to licensing and insurance regulations.
Cancellations
5.1 Timely cancellation is required. Charges apply if a vehicle is canceled after dispatch, based on the distance covered.
5.2 Online booking cancellations before dispatch may incur charges on the original payment.
Liability
6.1 While Gidea Park Airport Minicabs strives for timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. No liability for losses to you or your business is accepted.
6.2 Luggage is carried at your own risk.
6.3 In case of vehicle breakdown, alternative arrangements will be made.
6.4 You will not hold Gidea Park Airport Minicabs responsible for expenses arising from omissions or acts by anyone in your party.
6.5 No party can exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or unenforceable matters under applicable laws.
Termination
7.1 Immediate termination or refusal of a booking may occur if a vehicle or driver is endangered. No refunds for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
8.1 Gidea Park Airport Minicabs may subcontract obligations. You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 Terms and conditions may be altered by Gidea Park Airport Minicabs, reflected on this page. Regular review is advised, with existing bookings honored at the applicable rates.
8.3 Data processing complies with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Gidea Park Airport Minicabs and yourself.
8.5 No third party has rights unless agreed upon in writing.
Disputes
Claims or disputes must be made within 30 days from the booking pickup date; Gidea Park Airport Minicabs is not obliged to address claims made after this period.
